which mock cat series are the best- is it time , cl, ims , career forum etc

i think based on my experience that time comes 1st then cl and next is ims....................what say.............

please reply from ur experience.........
this is 4 all those wanting to take up two series at a time and so as to avoid wasteful expense.

Hmm...I have been writing actuals and mocks (CAT, JMET, XAT, FMS)..And have written TIME and CF..but sometimes I have been able to write IMS and CF as well. Heres my take on the mocks: TIME - best picture ; tough mocks but ur real %ile (atleast CAT) will be what u get in mocks. CL - Good; but not as good as TIME. CF - Convenience ; I took them coz I could write them on Saturdays, Monday mornings etc., - Bangalore that was the case; not sure elsewhere. IMS - Good; but not as good as CL also (purely my opinion) Hope that helps. Cheers, Seizonsha

Time is the best no doubt - but I'm doing CL series this time and they have really upped their level this yr. and are in close comptt. with time.

No idea about IMS.

I m giving CL this time.
I think both CL and TIME are competing each other well in making toughest mock of the year.

Mock set aside, its the D-day dats CAT 2007 which matters.

hey hi all,
i am writing mocks of CF and CL...
not having ne knowledge of time...heard that it gives best picture...of ur performance...bt dont knw so cant comment...

regarding CL i can say really gud paper... more charts and graph based question... qts section is also from moderate difficult...no comments on eng coz its my achilles heel..even if peole throw modearate of easy quen it looks me difficult...
only problem wat i think is they are throwing the same set nof 75 questions..
same weighatge same marking so not having ne surporise kinda thing...bt must say all n all really gud questions...

regarding CF...amazing....no word to express thier quality...
in each n every Precats there is a surprise awaiting fr u not only different weightage...different number of questions wide variety of questions...
qts based on reasoning...n reasoning which involves really gud logic...
frankly speaking i have really pushed alot to clear cutoffs in this section...

all in all i am satisfied with both theses papers...
both instis people are doin gr8 job...!!

As of now TIME stands as the best. Most of those who have taken previously go for it. Hence expect tough competition.

CL is also good. Here you can get all possible combinations of paper and section type.

I am ignorant on IMS front.

My advice go for both if u can afford. If u cannot go for 1 and take xerox of other.

hi all.
i gave time test series last year.
this year i am career forum test series student.
last year i have seen Time, CF and CL papers.
that too i am doing this year.
unfortunately i managed to see CF papers(2006) this year only.
if i have to compare, time has more number of test takers, but quality of Career forum teat paers is outstanding. time this years in terms of quality is ok.
CL papers are average. ims......... not to mention has lost the edge on mock paers preperation. this year in their first sim cat people were commenting that it is as ggod as MAT. also they have given caselets from their old study material.
i hope they will improve in coming time.
my advise is to join CF(for quality and variation) and time/CL for number of test takers.
