I had sent the DD yesterday through courier.
Called up Ratna ma'm today, she said the payment receipt alongwith other documents (if any0would be sent to us by post.

btw, if u need to verify whether ur DD has been received by IMI, call up the following nos. and ask for Accounts Dept.

Hmmm......seen an offer letter....it doesnt clearly state that u will get refund if and only if seats gets filled up but it does surely state that it will follow AICTE norms...that can be abig twist....chk it out and decide on ur own....till date 20 seats are filled up fr HR(went to campus today but havent deposited money yet)...so its not a hurry...Hr ppl can still think over..not a major rush is seen in both ...

Hey sorry for late reply. no its not necessary for the candidate to be there. anyone can go on your behalf and submit the dd. you dont have to fill any form. just collect the acknowledgement receipt.

Hi. this FCFS was just a stupid hoax. i was told that they are sure there will be several cancellations so they are accepting dds from all 247 candidates. apparently they have no idea of the panic they created because of this silly FCFS issue.

Well yr point is logical..but the fact is that they are not keeping tack of any serial nos..of deposits..they are sure that there will be enuf cancellations and thats about it..

I have two queries -

1)Could u please throw some light on student exchange prog at IMI.

IMI website clearly lists universities with which IMI has collabration.But I want to know how rigrously is it followed at IMI?
How many students on an average take it?Whats the process for the same?

2) Whats the criteria for taking specialization at IMI in second year.Is it own students choice? Or is it based on our performance in first year.
