I can only say speak the truth in the interview, admit it was a honest mistake and live with it. Everyone makes mistake, its only what we learn from it which matters, in your pi, state this point clearly. IMI stresses a bit high on ethics, so hopefully your candid confession of the mistake wont do any harm to your cause. I think if u have a work ex, you have it and it will be considered.

I want to knw does IMI consider work ex during the shortlisting stage....I have 96.01 in CAT( Boundry line):sleepy: all sections cleared....2+ Years of work ex...I hope i will not miss out on a call after GLAKES dissapointmet..:whatthat:
One more thing wat kinda Package a guy with 2 year of work ex in TOP IT MNC can expect... Please give some figures excluding forgien placements and CTC. Will be a great help seniors

Hey Mansham,

Yes buddy the work ex is considered while the Final Shortlist is decided.

Now as for your experience , suppose you do an MBA with specialization in Systems then your experience should be very relevant and you may expect a decent Package. Few figures are companies like SBI Life paid around 9.5 to 10 Lakhs p.a. to people with relevant experience and similarily Genpact paid around 10 lakhs with people with 2+ years of experience

Suppose you decide to do an MBA in marketing while your experience is in software designing/testing , then i cannot assure a good lateral placement in terms of profile, package can still be arnd 9/10. Buddy since your are gonna join a B-School , as your super senior, i would suggest choose a good job profile than a package when you are coming out from a B-School.
