I think your selection for PGDM(HR) and for PGDM are not related to each other. You maybe in the waitlist of PGDM as well, which could be reflected later if some people drop out.

If you're not paying for HR, no chance for HR obviously, but you still have a chance for PGDM

Re: IMI,Delhi ::Admissions 2008 - 21-06-2008, 07:30 PM

Hi Guys,
I have converted IMI in yesterday's list...
I have done my B.Tech(IT) and have almost 3yrs(35months) work-ex in IT...
But I am in a big big confusion....
I have already paid up at SIBM Bang...
Now please suggest me with your practical thoughts and lateral thoughts as to what to do....Do I need to take a decision basing on the specialization I wish to take? Some people say that if I wish to go into IT then there would be no much difference w.r.t placements in both of these....mainly as it is banglore....but anyhow I am yet to decide my specialization...
Please pour in ur suggestions......

One more query...
If anyone is familiar with refund policies..SIBM says that if u withdraw ur admission within one month of joining 1/12th would be deducted and the rest would be refunded if a person takes up my seat...
I think there is very similar kind of rule in many colleges...
How would anyone know whether his seat is filled or not?

I am curious as well as sceptical of the infrastructure of IMI...Nothing much is there in the website....Can anyone provide me an insight into this as well as facilities at IMI? I tried to find out if there is any thread like life@IMI but i couldn't find any...

Infrastructure wise, IMI is quite well off, although the campus is not very spread out. It's compact but it has all the facilities that you look for in a B-School.

1. Centrally air-conditioned academic building
2. Nice canteen
3. TT room
4. AC gym equipped with all machinery that you require
5. wifi campus

Possibly one of the few campuses which is actually green.... It's lush green actually.... but just that, not very spread out. But I don't think a spread out campus is what is essential. All facilities are provided, you shouldn't worry about it.

Besides this, do you want to know anything else regarding infra n all?
