Hi! I got thru imi in the last list n i have sent the dd as well...the problem is that my exams will get over on 30th june n i can make it to the campus only by 2nd july...i've tried calling imi many times n sent mails as well,but there's no response from their side...wot should i do??got thru imt(ft) as well ..so i have to make a decision by tomorrow...plz help

---> Barath, as told by Ratna Mam, sometime back, we require to present only the Original offer letter and the Fee receipt of the admission fees.
Still, we will verify that once again tomorow..

im new to pagal guy as i donot post so regularly...
i need some urgent answers...
i got call from imi on 17th june that ur admission is confirmed and the fees on 23th june(last date)...so some questions
1)what is there on 19th june and 20th june,they told it's kind of orientation,is it necessary to join and when will the classes start.....
2)how to apply for the hostel as im an outsider..
3)what are formalities to be done....
4)will the laptop will be provided or we have arrange ourself...

kindly answer as a lot of things have to done in a haze, so trying to figure out the ways....

19th - 21st is the orientation session and although it's not a must to join, esp. for you since you've not paid up the fees, but I suggest that you should. You'll get to know a lot about the specializations, how to study cases, the various committees and other various important things at IMI.

You can mail somag@imi.edu for hostel. He's our hostel warden.

Formalities.... for what?

Either we'll have to get our own laptop or we can hope to get a bulk deal through the college. I suggest you wait till you get to the college and then decide whatever feels best to you

Hey Barath, I have confirmed that with Ravi Sir, We have to carry followings docs along with us:
1. Original Offer Letter of IMI
2. Original Fee Receipt
3. 1 Passport Size Photograph for official usage.
4. 1 Photograph, one size smaller size than Passport size photograph for ID card.

As per the Faculty members there is no Dress Code for coming three days. But as AVINAV told, it has been suggested by the seniors to be in formals during the Orientation classes. So lets honour our seniors suggestion and lets be there in formals tomorow.
We will have to register ourself for the course tomorow morning between 11:00am and 1:00pm and also have to collect the relevant reading material from them. After registration, they will provide us the schedule of orientation classes.

Hope to see class of 2010 in full force tomorow.

Where do we get the 4th one..... (1 size smaller than a passport size photo)??

That size of photo is probably called as Stamp Size. And you can get it done from any of the Photo store nearby.. and I believe, you can submit that later also. For tomorow, you can carry 2-Passport size photographs.

I hv got thru in the last list and I couldn't join tomorrow. I called Mr.ravi and he asked me to mail to Chandra that i wud b joining on 23rd. Within 30 minutes i got the reply

Dear Agilan,
You may join on 23 june.
