hey guys,
today i got d news that i have converted sibm Pune.. so it was a real dificult decision for me to choose b/w sibm and IMI .
now, i have decided to go with Sibm...since i had hostel acco, i guess someone can expect to get hostel acco now...

Avinav and Chekidu,
Actually, I received a letter from the hostel warden. The details of availing the hostel accomodation were provided, as in lodging fees, food costs, etc. An email address was given there wherein we have to confirm if we do not want to avail the hostel offer.
I just wanted to make it double sure that I get the hostel and wrote a confirmation mail to that address. It wasn't necessary but dont know whether it was responsible for making the difference in the end.

Just sent the cheque for the remedials. Sent it to the IMI address (mentioned in the "Contact Us" section of the website) and included a cover letter addressed to the Program Director. Hope it's the correct method though 
Btw, which courses are you planning to join?

Which letter were you talking about in this post of yours?? I thought that there would be only one letter from the hostel warden, which I think you have already received and I haven't. That's why I was asking for the details.
Also, do we have to pay for the food costs before 9th Jun as well?? AFAIK, food costs are on a monthly basis and should be paid over the counter. Let me know

Just to let all my fellow batchmates know, there's a life@imi thread as well, where we can discuss our day to day happenings (and not-so-happenings) at IMI..... Many of our seniors have discussed quite a lot in it. I do suggest everyone to go through the thread. There are plenty of things that might interest you....
Also, I do hope that we can take charge of this thread from 12th (start of the remedials) and post regularly from then on. Hope to see this thread become one of the most active ones among "life @ xxx" walas
