Frankly speaking guys, I am also confused with the way you people are telling about the hostel. It would be better if one of you can go to the college and make the things clear. Adhchini hostel being in place, accommodation shouldn't be a problem atleast for outstation candidates. If some one is ready to volunteer, please pm me your number.

You can get in touch with Mr. P.S.Gupta, Senior Administartive Officer for information regarding off-campus accomodation. I don't have his number as of now since I am travelling and will return to Delhi only by end of May.

ive mailed my gupta as well coz he has put his phone on voicemail, however i am visiting delhi on 28th and would be paying the fees in person

Does that mean that even the Off Campus hostel which is 2 km from the institute is also full

Just wanted to know more about this off campus hostel, the hostel fees is not to be paid by us to imi in case of off campus hostel ? Ratna maam told me that in case we are unable to provide u the hostel accod we would certainly help you to find another place, did that refer to the off campus hostel that u were talking about?? This is coz ratna maam told me that you would not need to pay the hostel fees in case we do not find space for you is the hostel, this is really wierd.I am going personally(flying from mumbai) to IMI on 28th
to get a better view bout it.Please clarify my doubts seniors/fellowmates

The OFF CAMPUS HOSTEL is an official hostel of IMI. So it can't be the place she would be referring to. I am also unable to help you guys as I am currently in Mumbai. So it would be better if some localite visit there and clarify the situation because this should not be the case until there are atleast 30-40 additions in number of hostel applicants, which is a rare case. Last year the rooms were lying vacant in the off campus hostel, and this year no rooms..........seems difficult to digest.

HI,
U simply have to send an e-mail to ratna maaam..statiing all ur details and the fact that u want to withdraw ur admission....also, request her to please arrange for the refund....I have also sent the mail....to withdraw the admmission and have received the cheques within 1 week of my sending the email....they are pretty fast in all this.....hats off to IMI...excellent and speedy management......:hurray:

Called up ratna maam today , she said that the off campus hostel is packed :sad:,
also i checked on the website that 43 names have been given for the first year guys for hostel accomodation,so is the capacity only for 43 guys in hostel????
she said that if later any place is vacated then outstation candidates would be given first priority...
But it seems that i might have to search for my own accomodation :sad:
