need a lil favour.....can seniors help me out....i hv been selectd at IMT-G for d HR course.....n at IMI for dere flagship course i.e. PGDBM.....nw me in a fix.....wot to go for...im not hearin anythng positive regardin HR frm IMT-G....n dey hav also decreasd d seats of HR frm 60 to 30.....imt-g is a name to reckon wid....n imi is cumin up....so shud i go fr d coll name or d course.....me a fresher....did my b.tech frm delhi

Guys can anybody tell me about imi-pgdh-hr course, i mean the placements and salaries offered, i just converted it after the first list got out

IMI Selected guys i have a query again,
as per the website the first installment to be paid is 130000, but they have asked to submit 1,42,000 in two weeks time.Has the fees increased? if yes then what is the latest structure, i need the info coz i have to apply for loan accordingly.or is it like 130000+12000(books)=142000 coz its stated in the website that books fees has to be paid with 1st and 3rd installment.In that case the fee structure on the website is correct.Guys who have already paid the fees please clarify...

Hostel fee
Rs. 55,000(lodging only)
It states that loding only, what are the other charges that are involved?
What about the mess charges?

Dear Participant,

Congratulations once again on securing admission in IMI. Your first term will begin from Thursday, 19 June, 2008. You will have to register yourself for the course on Thursday, 19 June, 2008 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and collect the relevant reading materials.

For the benefit of those who are new to / weak in the following subjects we propose to have a seven day remedial module beginning from 12 June 2008. Remedial courses will be in:

a. Accountancy
b. Mathematics and Statistics
c. Information Technology
d. Economics

Course contents for remedial program is attached

Registration for the remedial course is optional and offered at nominal additional charge. You may register yourself for one, two, three or all four courses and report at IMI between 9:00 am – 9:30 am on 12th June 2008.

Participants who have been allotted hostel accommodation and wish to attend remedial classes can avail the hostel facilities from 11th June, 2008. Others may take possession of their rooms on 18th June, 2008 since the session is starting on 19th June. You will receive separate communication from the Hostel Warden.

Participants desirous of attending the remedial courses are requested to fill the attached Form and send it back (by e-mail only) latest by Friday, 23rd May, 2008. Payments for remedial in favour of “International Management Institute” can be made through an account payee cheque latest by 05th June, 2008.

Information Technology
Rs 2000

Please note, while remedial courses are optional, once you register yourself attendance is mandatory. However, if the number of participants opting for a particular course is less than 15, Institute reserves the right to cancel the course.

Overview
‘Information Technology for Decision Making’ is the first course offered in the discipline of IT and forms the foundation for most of the courses offered in IT and other functional areas like finance, operations and Marketing. Guys , just called up ratna maam and found out the the hostel accomodation is full and hence even outstation candidates would have to arrange for separate accomodaton(they would provide the contact details), only if any furthur cancellation comes up and a hostel seat is vacated then that wud be given to outstation candidates at the first come first basis...
I got converted recently, is there anyone who is looking for accomodation?
