Some post back .. someone mentioned that Union bank is not ok with the laptop fee as it is mentioned as optional in the Fee Structure Certificate... r they ok with it?

ya, i was only discussing abt laptops..it depends on the banks.i guess mine is sanctioned partly...i hav to go kolkata(going home soon ) and check that with the bank..

ya, they are reimbursing, provided u talk with some higher officials...but this will also increase ur current interest payments and later EMIs..if u can do without it, better..

loan sanctioning takes a week..but u hv to open ur a/c there ..also an LIC policy has to be made..

One more thing as it getting late , wont it create any problem for working ppl coz they hav to serve their notice period( which is approx 2 months for most of the IT compnies ).

We don't come out with any summer placement report as such. Profiles offered are in areas of Fin, Marketing & Sales, Operations , Systems & HR. The maximum Stipend through campus placement I believe is 25K by M.B. Holdings. I think there were 1-2 international offers also(not sure about them as I didn't applied to them.)

Hi,

Just now i had called up Ratna madam. Passing some informations

• Remedial course will be ending on or before June 18th.(So if the duration is 3 days( is it 3 Nikhil??:sarcasm...plan accordingly) From June 19th onwards IMI regular PGDM/PGDMHR courses starts. The course director will be sending a communication within 1 week.They are in the process of formalising these stuffs. The Remedial course is a PAID one:sarcasm:

• Outstation candidates will be sent the letter from the warden within one week.All the formalities/procedures will be detailed in it.

• Issues like procuring blazers,laptops etc will be sorted out once we are in the institute.

• 164 students have paid up the fee initially and now the tally is 120 after withdrawals.They are expecting some more and hence a waiting list will be out soon
  

She didnt talk further on the waiting list thing. I think that i confused her. BUt she was very listening and at last got fed up with my doubts and hung up the phone

( i believe she was talking about 120 being filled up in 120+60 SEATS..so lots of seats are up for grabs)

Is the remedial course the one in which the basic skills will be brushed up ? So when does that commence from ? I thought there would be orientation classes before the commencement of regular classes.

I think Nikhil has mentioned earlier in this thread that remedial course is only for the PGDM students... So I think you can relax till the 19th

paying for remedials is ****'al ...earlier sm1 had called IMI arnd 2 weeks ago...and ratna ma'am said that 'nything happens...cold not opening b4 19th..." and no mention of extra paying up....

I am not sure about the same. I was asking about hostel stay along with the remedial classes. May be I confused her thats why she gave the reply like "You will have to pay". Please restrain ourselves till unholy/Nik solves this issue.

Also one may call them up tomorow to sort out the issue.

ps: Proffessors will be spending time for us to teach us something thats not part of PGDM. So it aint a social service. They can charge for it if they wants. SO it doesnt suck
