When is the end of our first term ? Another silly query - are the hostel rooms air-conditioned ? After all, we would be searching for some respite from the Delhi heat.

@ nikhil_aero, unholy, curtz_imi or any other puy who has the answer to this:
Do we have to take any preparatory classes or not??? I mean, like the engineers being taught accounting etc and the commerce background ones being taught mathematics etc.
It's a bit scary to think that engineers like me will be taught in the same way as the CAs :( Hope these classes do take place but I've not found anything of this sort either in the brochure or on the website

I've already read a book named "Ten day MBA" and it has quite a few examples given regarding accounting, quant methods used, price and value variances etc.... But still I felt that preparatory classes would have been helpful to get a real feel of the subjects..Maybe you already have some idea of the subjects but most of the engineers would feel this way at the start... Later of course, they may come to terms with it

Agree .
i'm a commerce student with maths background so yes its not a strange subjest for me
Was just trying to tell you that its not really tuff to know as much accounts as a 12th std guy would. just take some crash courses for accounts (11th and 12th std ) and here you go . you being an engineer will grab it easily and fast .
Peace !
Parimal
p.s. Refer principles of accounting . that should help
