IMT Nagpur 2008-10 Admissions

Talked 2 the admissions department ..a lady on the phone said we can apply for refund till 20th june according to AICTE rules.Hope it clears some of the doubts.........

Hello everyone. Today I got the joining letter from IMT after a long wait (I got selected in the first list). It says session starts from 21st june and also details about fees. Unfortunately the fees has been increased to Rs 3 lacs per annum. Atleast I am happy to receive the letter as I never got the first letter for depositing fees.

Hi Kabir,

Very less seniors are replying on this trhread and since you have replied we would like you to tell something about IMT Nagpur , howsthe life over there and as senior would you like us to guide about something .this thred is not very active other than people asking for refund or something ..Lets make it more interactive by having more discussion over here....would you tell us something abt the one year which you have spend there , abt students profile , abt job profile offered ..abt anything which is happeningg there ...

Well dont worry as it cannot happen what you have stated. IMT-N always follows a very fair mechanism and the same was followed last year as well without any flaw. So relax and be rest assured that you will be given a fair chance.

This might be a bit off the thread..
but it is surely not a wrong thread for my query..

I have been waitlisted and every time the list is released,I get to see another date..
Are the admissions over??
Am I just being too positive or is there hope left???
Had IMT Nagpur been generous enough to disclose the waiting list ranks..many aspirants like me could have been in a better state of mind..

If any of the seniors out there or members of AdCom can help..it would be really great..

HI parul..... the admissions has definitely not ended..... i can just say.... be patient....... u might have something gud 4 u in the next list.......

as far as the wait list no. is concerned, IMT has done away with this practice frm this year b'coz last yaer there were many students who thought they won't be able to make it to IMT-G(cause of the waitlist no.) didn't come for the counselling thereby losing there seats ..... and since admission is centralized 4 both the insti's, imt -n also hasn't given the WL no. ......
I can understand it's a tough thing for students........ but i believe it's better this way than losing seats just b'coz we "think" we won't make it..........

The reason why seniors r not responding on this thread is that they r busy with there summers...... there r few others who r helping us on ORKUT....... u can join this comm.
