Hi all
The ad for IMT ghaziabad admissions for the academic year 2008 is out on the IMT website.I could not find a thread for IMT Ghaziabad 2008-2010 Admissions..so am starting one now..

I think for ghaziabad its higher..around thr 96 percentile range..
nagpur was around 92 to 94..
seniors ive got a question..
how do they allocate specialisation?
i heard its done based on ur overall score?
can someone elaborate about the admission process in IMT ghaziabad..

Hi..

Good to see some early activity on this thread..

The admission process last year was as follows:

Minimum Percentile Required: 96% as has been mentioned

Group discussion and interview round at various locations

The weightage given to the various components is not revealed..

a rank is given to each shortlisted student based on the GD/ interview performance, CV.

There is then a single window counselling process where on the basis of ranks, you can choose any specialization that is available at that point in time..

Hope the process is more clear now.

i have a few questions
1.does IMT have sectional cut offs?
2.if yes what where the cut offs last year roughly?
3.what is the overall CAT percentile they look for?
4.how advantageous is work ex of say 2+ years?
answer these when u find time

thanks for your reply...can you shed some light on the individual cut-offs...and the other parameters for giving calls for GD\PI..or is it solely based on CAT..

Hi.

The course is no longer mhrmcg but is renamed PGDM(HR).

and, there is no specific cut off for a course. there is a counselling process based on the overall rank you get and then you get to choose whichever stream you wnat depending on availability.

A minimum would anyways be 96%.

your questions are answered in seriatim..


1. they were not there till last year, plans to include them this year though has not been quantified yet..

3. 96%+ approx

4. A work ex of 2+ would be a definite plus. catch: be ready to answer some sharp questions on the type and quality of the work ex and your specific role and learnings in the same... if you can do them well.. you are ahead in the race..
