This is not to offend anyone from IMT-G..but could you pls clarify on this one.

Is the average salary actually 10.3 L as put up on website ? or are they inflated, given that this is kamalnath's inst ? bcos the salary is even more than that of MDI, SPJAIN, NITIE, IIFT and a couple of IIM's......

I'm not comparing inst. but i have heard from seniors of other inst. & also from those of IMT-G , that a lot happens behind the scenes ? Hope u provide a fair & an unbiased answer, keeping in mind that we are in the same boat as u all were last yr (vying to get admission into good b-schools) .

alongwith the above question can someone please answer ... that ... can we fill in the forms after checking our performance in CAT on 18/11/2007 ... as the last date is 30/11/2007 ... for IMT ??

asking this just to confirm that there wont be any problems like form not being available that late or something like that ... u know !

please reply ... as i just wanted to know where i would stand before spending money on those costly forms ... and also at the same time dont want to take the risk of delay in submission if i have to fill in the form ... !

hi puys,
i thought that syllabus for first year is common n the specialisation is to be selected in the second year only. i might be comfortable thinkin that am good at marketing now but it might change to someother specialisation after some months in col (talkin to prof,gettin to know about each specialisation stuffs like that). but selecting them in first year itself wil be like selecting some specialisation with lil knowledge about it. so can u clarify it asap?

Marketing is the specialisation IMT is known for. and its not mentioned in the prospectus bcoz the course u see PGDM-FT is none other than Marketing. This is the flagship course out here

Since form is available online and offline as well so u can very well purchase a form after CAT 07.

the papers all ppl has to study must be same but there is difference between teaching approach for the same subject to different specialisation. so ppl keep focus on their specialization.
