Hi All Puys,
Since Cat has had its new Avatar since 06' with 2.5 hrs and lesser number of questions, institutes all around have been srambling to find the perfect test taking strategy.
I Know each one of you guys have your own strategy that may either be working, or may be under tuning. I tought It'd be a great idea for us to share the different test taking strategies that we have been using in our mocks, and the degree to which it may be working.
For those of us who have a lot of fine tuning to do in our test taking strategy, this following month or so is the right time to be experimenting, and it will help if we can know what others are trying out- we may end up learning a thing or two about time management and the psyche one gets into during diff stages of the test.
It would also help if gurus who cracked cat 06' can post the strategy the used on the D day.
To Start with during the open SIM , (my first of the season)
I tried going question by question without bothering about the time, since we had to infact attempt every question. I went for QA first, followed by DI and kept VA for the last as it was my strong section. turned out to be a huge mistake as i ended up having jus 20 mins for VA. I cleared QA cutoff, Missed out DI by a margin of 1 question, but lost out in VA big time.
So puys, how does one take this up from here on??
