Have been doing ok in Aimcats, clearing VA and QA cutoffs, but DI is my monkey on the back. And yes, I have registered for SIMs as well. So From now on I would take AIMs only on sundays where there wud be no SIM. Basically I am looking at giving different tests in different centers, rather than get used to some kind of routine.
So what say, lets go show em some???

hameed | Hi Hameed,
I sincerely feel sorry for u man .. and looks like we have many more here on PG who have been sailing in the same boat .. infact I dont think if i can understand what frustration 'Harshadk' and 'finatarget_2007' would have had after those rejections .
And yes lets try to do to better .. who the hell knows what fate has in store for us .. The only thing we need to keep in mind is tht our preparation should be enough not to make us think of this statement 'shayad main aur padta to is bar ho jata' ..
Warm Regards,

Contender | When i was in the god's own state of Kerala, visiting a friend, I happened to get introduced to a very religious old person. Though i personally think religion is a farce, i still hold a lot of respect for people who can have a faith and stand by it without being hipocrates.
Anyway, this man tells me that his age is 101, he walks as fast as me, and sleeps 3 hours a day. He does not have a hand, he supposedly lost it in a train accident which also took away from him his daughter. He then tells me that his faith began to falter after that incident, so he began walking, just like that (reminds me of forest gump hanks running away) - he walked from kerala....kept walking and resting, doing small time labor, earning enough money to keep moving, untill five years later he arrived in Mecca. There, he tells me his faith was forged agian. Twenty years later at the ripe age of 80 he lost his eye-sight, and then when was 95 he began getting his sight back.now at 101 he looks healthy as a bull.
I dont think its got anything to do with god or religion, but the undying search for one's destiny. It is the unmoving faith that you can hold in an idea that will bring dreams to life.
To 'Harshadk' and 'finatarget_2007' and Contender - I can't claim to know the dejection you feel, but all i can say is "keep walking!"
Rock on!

Hi all
I'm also a repeater. This will be my third attempt in CAT
2005 -91
2006 -91.
In any case want to improve these scores to get into iims . Know what others (getting call and couldn't convert) must be suffering.
It's high time for us to stop mourning over what has happened in the last few yrs and discuss about the ways and means by which we can improve on scores. Ofcourse we shouldn't keep our motivation level down!!! | | | | | | | |

I have moved out of my comfortable home into a place near my place of work, so that I can save the 2 hours i waste each day travelling.
Its now or never baby!

The best part about us "repeaters" is that we know how to reach the end of our hope and then extend it further. Secondly we also know CAT inside out so we know exactly where and how to improve. With me the major problem is lack of time as I am working full time in a very competitive enviornment. I am sure everyone else would have some problem or the other but the CAT still bewithches us! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
