help for bhubaneswar junta for cat07

Hi folks,

Heartening to see so many...puys from bbsr. Puys , i work in an IT company in bbsr and will be attempting CAT. However I have missed the bus for CAT and haven't joined any coaching insti or anything. This is my first attempt.

For this I am planning to join a Test Series :

Q1. Will IMS be better than TIME in bbsr ? Do they have a discussion of their Test series, even if one enrolls for only the test series.

Please answer my query...

its not abt whose test is better?i dint take any coaching but we had an amazing group which used to study together and wer able to convert our calls only because we were able to point out each others loopholes and were helping each other to plug them.i suppose any one, be it ims or time test series gives u the same amount of exposure to good questions and there is absolutely nothing to worry abt not being able to take up a particular classroom coaching.be very sure to analyse the papers after the tests........as that really matters

junta since all u people r in bhubaneswar and all have the dream of belling the animal...u can all form a study group to do so..........if u dont get that much time than may b u all can meet once or twice a week to discus and sort out ur doubts,negative points or improve your week areas

Thanks for the enthu. As you said that it is more about knowing your loopholes and trying to pluck them is the essence in which I too believe. Thanks for giving me a reason more to push for it.

However in judging for the test series can anyone who has attended ims coaching in bbsr tell me that when will the sim-cats start in bbsr, what is the timing, fees etc. And most importantly whether there is a provision for discussions of the sim-cats , even if one enrolls only for sim-cat. Is the faculty good.

Frankly speaking, I attended a couple of trial classes of the TIME folks in Nayapalli area, I didn't feel like wasting time there. I know, I might have made a mistake, but according to me if I can get the right kind of atmosphere , i can do it myself. In creating that atmosphere I would like to keep the Test-series and its analysis as the central theme. Hope I am not sounding like Einstein....

Exactly..I too feel the same regarding analysis and TIME....

analysis is the key here..Along with taking mocks one has to identify the mistakes commited in the test.
TIME in bbsr ,according to me sucks.I have been to TIME branches in other cities like bangalore and hyderabad and they really rock adding to its fame.But in bbsr TIME is really bad.I have not been to IMS so cannot really comment on that.

When i said TIME is bad..I mean compared to other branches it sucks here.I heard IMS is better.

yeah my dear friends the fact is almost all the coaching insts suck in bbsr
for preparation u'll have to entirely rely on yourself
but,the TIME test series is definitely superior to all others
as was my experience last yr,it prepares u for any kind of surprises
if u analyse ur performance after every test and constantly improve yourselves in the weaker areas u'll definitely come good

As for me...I work in Infy BBSR ,its been around 10 months since i have been here...
and this is my first attempt at the billi...

well guys if u ask me u dont need any kind of coaching at all............u all can easily crack the cat by being on ur own. there are no. of books availabe in the market.but make sure u give some mock cats and analyse them to know abt ur own +ves and -ves.......there will always be some kind of new adventure while taking CAT..........dont worry it will be a surprise for all the candidates. so just be confident and take teh bull by its horn
