I m planning to appear for both GMAT & CAT this year
GMAT around Oct
Starting this thread to get in touch with others heading in the same direction,
discuss about strategy, share notes on how to tackle both these tests.

hey, even i'm moving in the same direction. Have started with the CAT course, because the basic syllabus remains the same. And i hope to get it over with by the end of July. what about u?

can any body tell me do we need to join consultant for the gmat before test and whats the benifits...

1) Princeton

2) Kaplan

3) Official guide


for Cat material is available everywhere . Giving more and more mock tests may help.

Wow... I dint know so many ppl are goinf for CAT + GMAT... because I felt that CAT and GMAT dont go hand in hand... Well... though the pattern, syllabus and study pattern might be similar, but the mentality of ppl taking both exams, the cost and many other factors do differ a lot...

Me planning to take both too... GMAT ofcourse earlier in september... but havent started much... hope to put in more effort... This is a good thread for ppl taking GMAT in august

Want to give both GMAT and CAT

But I'm more inclined towards GMAT now, having given CAT thrice already
