i do hope saturday is the red letter day. After all this speculation i sorta have lost the zeal to wait on the results. I remember reading somewhere on the glakes site/brochure that "students are treated as customers". Well as a 'prospective' customer, I am sorta disappointed by the delay in announcing the results and also the strict start dates of the course. The admission process is the first phase thrugh which a student gets a personal brush with the institute and this phase has been a prolonged one. The notice period will definitely be an issue for all those who are working.

I got this info from a gr8 lake senior tht for 2 yr its 7.5 - 8.5..in mostly IT companies...
Its nt as gud as I banking offer or M&A profiles..but we need to und tht its a start..get into the system first and thn its all urs if u have d potential..
SO gr8 Lakes is a gud launching platform..Nxt yr i feel the salary would go up..
so jst concentrate on ur performance in the college..
Ya if anyone of us get better college thn definitely its a big plus..For tht matter even IMT would be rated higher as they have placement for laterals whr our 2 yr exp will be a bonus..In gr8 lakes ppl wid 2 yr exp can be considered as fresher..but here we save 1 yr..so the final decision lies wid individual..
think abt it..
rest college upper thn IMT is dfefnitely a must go..in comparison to gr8 lakes..
sry if i have talked abt comparison..but i guess i have talked practical stuff..so i hope no groans

Yes, this was discussed with one of the current students at the time of GDPI process.

aha i am a prospective student just like you.. but i obviously am much more patient and mature than a few others out here.. (although it's possible they might make it n i might not)

my point remains: it becomes difficult keeping track of happenings with the kind of posts everybody is making out here.. there is a lot more to do on PG and in life.. so plz dun make ur and everybody else's wait more miserable..
