Hi... this thread is for the constructive dissection of the effect which the hrd ministry directive is having on us...

post your experiences and problems here... mention a little back ground,

whether you are employed, studying etc... no. of calls... fall back options... etc,

best posts get sent to the press

well... not really... but who knows...

p.s. use the result frozen!! central govt thread for expressing other views etc...

pps: the poll is multiple choice... so knock yourslef silly and select as many options as you want...

post more approp here so reposting...

Now I am working in an Indian MNC and cannot even think of those who have already resigned from their companies but me too has a strange situation

Now consider u r a star performer in the team n have been getting reviews / awards for it
other than the fact i have not worked since 2 weeks and I have just been refreshing the pages of pg here is my plight

23rd April b/w SC decisions and Arjun Singhs going to CJI
I was asked by TM if I would like to go onsite in may

and I was standing there just not knowing what to say
I cant say yes and I cant say no

now if I dont get in then ???

I somehow managed the situation and now he it telling me to go in June and that the visa proceedings will start this week itself
and I will be in a soup if I get the visa and decline to go

Hope it gets solved early..

Well for the starters, the Admission delay is going to affect not just the IIM's but also a lot other B-schools. Further lack of movement in the wait list is going to affect a larger section of the students.

For the freshers, pressure mite take a toll on their final sem exams. What if they get a final call but fail to clear one their subjects ?

For the workex junta, Lost opportunities, notice period etc. But one positive is, since most of these companies recruit at the B-schools, they may understand our situation. After all a lot of the managers themselves are MBA's

Finally loss of productivity over the last fortnite.

Well coming to my profile.
Calls: IIM B C L K I ,
( Have applied only to IIM's and not knowing wether I have even a single admit or not is killing me. 3rd attempt )

Other options: MS admits from TAMU, UFL , RIT.
( Visa process on Hold till results are out).

Work Ex: Self- employed so no need to worry about Notice Period ( Which is major concern for others)

Regards,
Rahul Brahma Reddy I
