Hi Friends,
Just now spoke with SCMHRD. They are saying that the Admission Cell is closed for last few days and will reopen on 2-May. They have not received any notification from AICTE Upon arguing that its mentioned in the AICTE website he asked me to wait until the Admin Cell reopens on 2-May.
I think this a step back now. It was earlier posted that the entire SYMBI family are going to meet and decide upon the matter.
I think we need to directly speak to the AICTE officials now. If anyone could track the phone number/address of concerned AICTE official overlooking admission process of SCM then plz send across.

I am also in the same position...Have cancelled my Admission on 23rd April and By SCM's rules stand to loose entire 1.4 L..Talked with Sashmit in Admission Cell..He told me that they have not got any directive from the Symbiosis University regarding refunds. He even told me that the Course in SCM have already Statred(Online Course)...I was told to wait till any decision is made from the university..Am confused what to do...

@PPL wthdrawing from SCMHRD
Lets communicate with each other and chalk out a plan to get our money back. I think there are quite a nos of PPL withdrawing from SCM...Lets get united to get our hard earned money back according to AICTE guidelines...

Hello Puys!

Will this be applicable in the case of IIMs as well? I have got final calls from IIMs L and I and being waitlisted at B as of now. If I make it to B, then will my money from L be refunded back as per the new norm?

Warm Regards,
Partha

Hello,

Can anyone plz tell if IMT Ghaziabad comes under the purview of this notification ? I have paid 93K there.

I have been waitlisted at IIM I and the waiting list results are awaited on or after 15th May. Now, initially IMT had said that the last day of refund is 17th May. If IMT comes under purview of the notification then does the 17th May deadline stand void ?

Hey..

Please check this link, where IMT states that the fee refund will be as per AICTE guidelines. Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad

PS: The link doesn't seem to open correctly. Once you open the page, just click on admissions. It has the required info

Cheers!!

hello everyone,
Can any one tell me that symbiosis family will go by aicte decision or not. I have read the news that govt has asked aicte to make sure that this rule is followed by every institute so that no student suffers recently.
I have applied for cancellation of my admission and now I am loosing 1.3 lac Rs if the symbi family decides against this.
I request all those students who are loosing their hard earned money to symbi family to come on a single platform and write a complaint to AICTE and president with all the proofs, so that we pay for only those service which we take.

That's the rule for life.
