Want to withdraw your admission from a B-school???? AICTE comes to the rescue...

paid 40k at ICFAI,, notified for withdrawal after a month only,,stil no proper response..
can anyone tel me if these new regulations ussied,,would apply to ICFAI or not,, since it is not approved by AICTE...

did they say it in writing ? if they did u can sue them promissory estoppel!!

Any pointers as to how do you sue an institution. I had withdrawn my admission from TAPMI and they have refunded only Rs. 15500 as per their offer letter, out of Rs. 1,69,000. So, pls help me.

Hi,
I need some urgent help.

Mine is a unique case. I had taken admission in NMIMS for which registration was on 11th of june. The same day, i got a call from NITIE saying that i had converted. When i enquired in the NMIMS admission office about the refund they said me that according to the AICTE ruling , all the money minus Rs.1000 will be deducted for any cancellation before 30th June(2nd July is when the actual classes start).

After i took admission in NITIE and applied for cancellation in NMIMS, they went back from their word saying that since the foundation classes had already started, they will not refund anything. I have been running around the offices trying to get my case heard but to no avail.

If anyone has had any similar experience or has any inputs to help me out of this, please share will me. I will be very thankful. I have got my 2.5 lakhs hanged in this mess. Please help me out.

I had deposited 2 lakhs in spjain but on 10th june i got into fms ...
now sp jain sayin that it is really late and so they cant refund back as their seat will go vacant ..
Even my 2 lakhs hangin ....

hey puys,
today i recieved a demand draft of Rs.1.29l,after deducting Rs 1000 as processing fees,from 1.3l which i had deposited as first instalment fees in SIIB,PUNE.
