UBS [2007-2009] - Final result out!

I am a Reserved category student Can you please tell me that what are the chances that the second list for the counselling comes.

i had taken admission in MBA but now i had withdrawn so one seat can be upgraded

Hi Harsh, Thanks for your reply but can somebody update me with the status of empty seats in all categories. I am at rank 1st if the second list for counselling comes. Please help me! Thanks

Dude, Looked up ur post on another link and learnt that u've dropped NIRMA for UBS.

Now i'm in a fairly similar predicament although i'm waiting 129 with NIRMA; but i did managed to get the 10th general seat in UBS (39 Rank). Now eventhough my chances in NIRMA are very thin, i would still preffer to go to NIRMA if by ne chance i do get the call..

So i wna know on what grounds did u choose UBS over NIRMA, mayb this will help me be at peace with my UBS seat and not look for alternativer.

Anyone who has some insight abt the lifestyle at UBS etc etc.. ur welcome to suggest..

n do we have any community at orkut or sumthn where the next batch can get aquainted b4 starting...

dude if we put placement as criterion both are equal,infrastructure NIRMA is better ,faculty i believe equally good ,return of money UBS is better,repute in corporate sector ,both are good.But one USP of UBS education is that you get reappear option in paper,which ,might not be available in NIRMA ,overall both are equally good.people in chandigarh rate UBS better than NIRMA although thats not my opinion.asking difference between them is same as asking difference between IIM C and IIM B

Please guys stop criticizing ubs infrastucture ...just because ubs dont have ac class rooms wifi and all that doesnt make its infrastructure poor.Ubs have got backin of d whole university ...so just chill....and dear ISM it is very hard to compare imi imt nirma kj fore lbs ubs they are in d same category ....lagging or ahead in few parameters .Its totally ur call to decide b/w nirma / ubs in my opinion both are at par

ayt..so basically there is no difference when we come down the the career factor but each has its own usp..

More over, even if you are in UBS/NIRMA, you need to work for inviting Companies in your campus. For Nirma it's quite settled but for UBS we have to work hard on this front.
This seems to be an opportunity, we will get more chances for intraction with corporate world.

AAH !! now there's a new prespective..It's going to be a challenging task but just as exciting...
