Work Ex Junta Cut Offs! - 03-03-2004, 08:59 PM
why don't we talk about the probable cutoffs for work ex ppl here? I have a call from IIM B and my scores are as follows:

QA 14
DI 16
VA 30

Net 60

Need more inputs from work ex junta to get to the probable cut offs!!

hi,

my scores r :

va: 31.75
qa : 10
di : 20.75

and i DON'T have a call ..... i guess it's because of this quant.

also, i have been working in infy since march 2003.
some aprt time work ex before that.
be %age = 77.3%

hey junta, what will be the cut offs for other iims?? (easpecially for quant)

very obvious quants did you in dude. But other institutes might take a combine score of QA + DI u shud be thru there!

Let us see how it goes for the other institutes. The work ex ppl who did get called by B are posting scores in the range 67 - 70!

now i know.. IITS' do make a difference...
my scores almost identical to u as per IMS...!

Guys ne shud there b ne hopes for other letters -- A, I,K, C, L.. inspite of not getting in B.. as the B list would definitely be repeated for A n i guess..!

hmm. I don't know about that. But I guess background does matter to an extent. But do you think work ex is the key for IIM B this year like in 2001?

Wondering if the percentage of guys who got called with work ex is greater than the freshers this time!

IIMB always known for preferene to work ex. So mayb...

my 3.5 yrs in S/W though dint help...!

i dunno abt that..im in iit kgp..a senior of mine with better acads here and 2 years job ex..didnt get a call at 66.5 junta here got calls @61 types

i am as confused as a baby in a topless bar..

got 62.25 with 3.5 yrs of work ex
VA - 25 (35/27/8 )
QA- 16 (21/17/4)
DI - 21.25(25/22/3)

No calls .... :(
Thought B was my best chance given their supposed inclination for work ex....
Anyways.... good luck to all who got thro' for their GD/PI.....
