Hi,
The cut-offs for DI are lower than 16 as being mentioned here. I can say so since I got a call from IIM-B with DI score of 13.5..The scores in the other section were VA-31 and QA-19.75. Would have probably touched the bottom line in DI...
Have 3 years of work-ex and am sure that helped a lot ....

hi there,
i think first the scores, work ex, acad history of all the candidates go into their database (remember, we had to fill all these parameters in the form). They must be needign this info for some reason, not just for making the application form bigger.
then, they will be using some complex SQL QUERY to generate the results, based on all these parameters. this query might differ across institutes.
so, i guess, our fates hang in balance by some sql query ........ i always hated databases :( :( :(
anyways, wishing all the best to the junta for the other institutes...
hey ppl, any idea when the other institutes r gonna come out with their results???

Hmmm.....this actually startles me. 57? Was he in the general category? Anyway, I have met a person in GC with a 58 making it also. There is obviously some algo which is not as simple as is being assumed. It's clearly not an open and shut case of the highest scores nor just sectional cutoffs. I suggest we give up this activity. The IIMs clearly have their own methodology and all we can do is hope that somehow we'll make it thru some institute or the other

Agentsmith .. yeah i think so .. it HAS to be a DI + quant total cutoff . and am sure i wudnt ave made that either a combined cutoff . or maybe they considered the highest of both of them . mine was low in BOTH of them .. n thats where i think i got dinged

Sounds plausible...but I know for sure that the IIMs each have an algorithm they run on their DB to shortlist....this sounds like a very logical guess though. It seems to fit all the people whi have got calls...including the ppl with 57-58 range scores...it also means I missed by 4+ in DI+QA :(:( way off.....neway, there's 5 more...

might be pretty close.....
coz my di + quant score is 30.75 and i didn't get a call :((
also, had 31.75 in va.

I have got the call. My expected score was 63-66( V->26-27,Q->15-16,DI->22-23).
I have 2.5 yrs of experience at Infy. And guys work ex does matter.
