Hey Guys ..Chilllll..

We are making an assumption over here ...the scores which we claim to get differ from insti to insti ..it might as well change for IIM's..maybe someone who expected 58 got 61 and vice versa ..enough to change the picture (some guys scores differed by as much as 15 ..depending on TIME/IMS key).

I myself got 30/16.5/15 (acc to IMS) .. 5+ yrs of work-ex in s/w comp

not seen any guy with verbal scores of 27 or less get a call i guess thats the reason why sum people with net 60++ didnt get a call.

My estimation for IIMB cutoffs

A guy expecting 57 got a call from IIM-B. He is a graduate from IIT Delhi and has two years work ex. Another (IIT-D graduate) expecting 62 and having a few months' work ex at Microsoft got a call too.

I think a minimum of 27 is required in VA and an overall equitable distribution across the other two sections.

That's my analysis. No call for me either !

Work ex - 3.5 years..

Now , I am sure that work ex and acads dont matter at all in getting the calls.
I called up my frnds at IIM B n C n they confirmed my opinion.
Its only in the GD or Pi stage that they may give some weightage on these things.

I sincerely believe that the calls r based on CAT SCORE only, or some other parameter which we dont know and ll always remain unexplained. Thats the way it has been for years n thats the way it ll b in the future.

Hope that we ( those who missed the call by the proverbial whisker ) get a call from somewhere else (I or K seems possible)

Me too didn't got a call from B

My score --> VA/QA/DI - 30/12.25/21.5 (according to IMS key)

Work-Ex: 7 months in Infosys

Acads: B.Tech. - 79%, 12th - 80%, 10th-84%

Really don't know why i missed the boat? People with similar profiles got the calls.

I, K --> atleast you guys do send me a call....

work ex - in infy since april 2003
10th-> 84.4%, 12th -> 78.5%, BE -> 77.3%

i guess i missed it by a whisker in quant.
what should the probable cut offs be for other instis???

i think we better relax coz this post-morterm will yield nothing but frustration.

here is a fact which ll startle u...
my colleague with 1.5 yrs exp has made it with a net score of 57 (he got some 25 odd in VA.)..sont know how its possible

neway, hope we get calls from some other IIM
