IIM-A, especially Mr Dholaika getting all the limelight seems to be affecting the other directors.

Maybe the IIM directors need some GD practice.

One small observation in this...The telegraph article says even IIM B & C are irritated with the way, Mr.Dholakia had declared the date of the results. But, yesterday there was an interview with Mr.Apte (IIMB) & Mr.Ashish Bhatacharya (IIMC) & they were projecting Mr.Dholakia's speech as a collective decision. Now, Telegraph's message is confusing..Any take on this?

Dude all the IIMs have taken a decision together after a meeting of all the six IIM directors through video-conferencing.
It just happens to be the case that Mr Dholakia is front-ending the entire exercise. And that is probably why he is the director of IIM-A.
So there is no question of a single person hogging the limelight. They are not politicians deriving any political mileage over this issue. They are professionals and know how to do their jobs.

SOmehow I get the feeling, THe whole bussiness of friction between the IIMs is a media show-piece . Nothing else but to create hullabullah. I saw the Economic Times headlines , something Relating to pulling out Draggers against the centre , don't remember exactly.
This media persons are there only to make a nice tea time story. They were nowhere to be seen when the grievances of the students were being addresed. But as soon as they found a bollywood type plot, they are up to grab it.

Buddy even the government officials may not have an answer to ur question let alone puys... I think they would defer this till April 20 (supposedely the UP polls to wind up by 20th) and then simply wait till August for the next hearing without having data even by then and finally the SC would strike down the law. I sincerely hope so, but also I empathise with OBC candidates who were shortlisted this year.

Guys,

Dont read too much into the media articles. They are masters of the art. I personally have an experience of this sort. They twist the facts to add "masaala".

I dont think the IIM Directors are kids to comment like that. I still believe that it is the collective decision of all the 6 IIMs. Otherwise, why would Mr.Apte of IIMB would be sending the letter to MHRD?

Read these articles with a bit of cynicism. Being cynical helps at times ...
