Well , all I can remark is that the IIM results have reduced to a TV style daily soaps. They are fighting like 5 yr old kids fight over a lollipop , its THAT ridiculous , esp on the part of HRD ministry.

Ummm where's the statement that IIMC didn't agree to the 21st :eh:
I thought all 6 directors had a video conference with each other before the decision was taken. At least that's what i read in yesterday's news

Strange that only IIMA has actually put up 21st as the date on their websites. All the other institute site states that results would be declared as and when they receive the notification from the ministry. So like siddhesh said, is this a date not mutually agreed upon?? :eh:

IIm-A has decided to release list according to last year capacity which is 250 and if Givt decides to go ahead with OBC issue then it will increase capacity to 280 ( with 19 OBC seats ) This means that 11 seats were also to increase of GEn + SC/St category. Same is the case with every IIM. In total if Govt is not able to implement OBC quota this year Gen and SC/ST category students are to lose on 50 seats as wel :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Apparently, IIM B has suggested 3 dates to the HRD ministry regarding declaration of results....

now where does this talk of 3 dates come from ? hadnt heard this before.... wierd....

It seems the IIMs are on a collision course not just with the HRD but amongst themselves also with strong statement coming from IIM L and IIM C. Bakul Dholakia is being questioned as to why he announced the date of the results before Mr Apte could send a letter to the HRD on behalf of all the IIMs. The plot thickens....:satisfie:

Going by this years CAT this comes as no surprise... how difficult is it for 6 people to coordinate and release a unanimous decision... anyways now lets see how the HRD ministry reacts to the letter by Prof Apte... but yesterdays statements by Prof Dholakia has definitely increased the friction between the IIMs and the ministry officials... now all we can wait is for the next move by the HRD ministry...
