I agree with u Harshad & Ravi that 30 days is a pretty long time n in all probability the issue may get resolved by then. However if I think from MHRD's perspective, then I will say anyways the course is not gonna start till june. So let me pressurize n frustrate ppl by dragging this process as far as possible, so that they give up n agree to this quota thing. I feel that theres an ego clash between the Supreme Court n the Government (if u guys have seen the speech of Manmohan Singh) not only over this issue but also some other article around 6 months back. Im not convinced if the govt is really worried about the 2000-3000 ppl getting impacted by the issue this year.

Again, going my the government's track record, Im skeptical (not pessimistic) if the issue will be resolved by this month end.

So y not be proactive by considering the worst case scenario and start this parallel process. We have got nothing to lose. Do we ? (Now dont complain abt the time. It will hardly take any). Also the letter to PMO is a gr8 initiative. The only other way of pushing them to resolve it faster is to start morchas n stuff (which I feel is the last resort though I dont advocate)

Finally its at ones discretion if he wants to opt for this option ........ I'm just exploring things.

IIMs don't give a damn as far as other institutes are concerned!!!

as far as the current situation is concerned, may I know how have they confirmed this date??? What if the result of the stay of SC isn't out by then...
will our results be out even in that condition???

Are the seats going to be the same as last year only for IIM-A or for other IIMs also? Bcoz I remember some of them were planning to increase it anyway irrespective of the OBC quota. And why the hell are the results being delayed if anyway the OBC results are going to be held up? What if the crazy lunatic Minister of HRD orders them not to release it even on the 21st?
