i have a query too...
in the admission form to hyderabad university in section 11
there is a question which i have to fill in yes or no...
that wheather i am interested in national service scheme...
i want to know that would it affect the status of application..
i mean the person with yes be given preference than a person writing no.please put some light on it...thnx in advance...

hyerabad central university branch for sbi and nampally branch for andhra bank

Is Hyderabad Central University specifies any sectional cut offs? what is the total cut offs for oc students?

No sectional cut-offs as of now.
The cut-off for general category is 80%tile in CAT, but realistic chances are at 85%tile

it is given as
"Cost of each application (including Registration fees) : Rs.400/- for General/OBC and Rs.150/- for SC/ST/PH
candidates. Rs. 50/- extra towards the postal charges if the same is obtained by an ordinary post.
Candidates using the downloaded / Xeroxed application should pay Rs.200/- each for General/OBC and
Rs.75/- for SC/ST/PH candidates in the form of DD and enclose to the downloaded and filled-in application
form."
if v r applying through downloaded downloaded / Xeroxed application then dd for 200rs is enough? y ther r charging 400 otherwise?
little confused, please clarify....
also wats the issue with dd? we shall get it from any nationalized bank or v should get it from sbi?

yes, If u apply with the downloaded form, it would cost u only rs.200/- [gen. category].
The reason is that the university would not be sending u the printed prospectus.[they incur charges on printing that, u see.]

The DD can be of any nationalized bank.

I repeat, this is a CENTRAL UNIVERSITY, run by the govt. of India.

Total course fees [for 09-11] - Rs.1,02,000 [1 lack 2 thousands only].
Hostel charges [estimated (for 2 yrs)] - Rs.24,000/-
It enjoys a very good ROI.
will post the current details as and when they r available.
