SPJIMR PGDBM 2007-2009 Experiences

Hi,

I would request some of the seniors in SPJIMR to help me out reg the issue I have at hand.

I had applied for SPJIMR for the 2007-09 2-yr MBA course and I made the payment thru credit card. But, because of some problem in the web site the payment was made twice.

I had mailed SPJ about it and was asked told that they would ask UTI Bank to refund the money by the 31st of Jan and asked me to get back to them in case that did not happen. However, even after innumerable phone calls and n-number of mails to them, I'm yet to get an official word about the refund. Whenever I call them , the standard answer seems to be "We shall ask UTI to transfer the money asap".

I'm really sick and exasperated at the callousness of SP Jain towards the students. Will it take ages for them to instruct UTI bank to refund my money and that too for no fault of mine? I would request someone from the admissions committee to give me the contact number of somebody so that I could talk to them directly or at least let me know what exactly is happening and if at all I shall be getting the money.

I had already called up the Admissions Contact at SPJ many times and had sent mails to adm@spjimr.ernet.in but to no avail.

I hereby request the seniors at SPJIMR to provide me the contacts at SPJIMR to whom I can get this issue escalated. After all, it's everybody's hard-earned money that's at stake and I hope SPJ understands that.

guys any idea hows the pre foundation course?? m yet to decide on the date to leave my job.. 15th or 31st may.. any idea?? is it manageable alongwith the job?? seniors plz help..

hi guys!!!!!!i am appearing for cat 2007 n very much interested in spjain.but recently i heard that it offers only 18 sits for the freshers.....i don't have any idea about it.......please help me .......i would also like to know if spjain takes xat score if it is better than any one's cat score..........

look spjain take both cat and xat scores into account. it takes your profile into account while giving calls, so pay a lot of attention to the form when you fill it up. As for the number of freshers, nobody has any idea on it.... however strangely this year out of the 417 finance calls 151 were born in and aound 1985..... so lots and lots of freshers............
