#4 - TCS, 18 months, Finance

JD: So, we are here to know you a litte better. I would like each of you to introduce yourself in about 1 min telling about your background, what your parents do, your educational background, your interests and end with a USP of yours.
JD: So, does any one know what a USP is? What about you, #2?
2: Er...
1: Er...
3: Utmost Selling point. (Oops!

)
4: Unique Selling Point.
JD: Ok, So #1, please start with an introduction of yourself.
(1-6: ....)
JD: Right, let us have a discussion. But, let me warn you that, for the sake of our health this is not going to be an GD. [Then he gave a brief introduction of the topic that can be summarised as "Misuse of technology - Restrictions: What and what not"]
(1-6: Spoke in random order probably based on the kind of interest we were showing towards the previous speaker. JD moderated the discussion.)
[Thereafter, they asked one question to each of us based on our intro and on the Questionnaire form and details provided in Admission form. Here are the questions asked]
JD: So #6, you say you are a guitar player. What are the 6 strings of a guitar called?
VP: What are the strings of a 4 string guitar called?
SM: #2, you have worked for 7 months in Congnizant but you have mentioned that you have learnt a lot of processes. Typically it takes 2-3 years to learn the processes completely. What all did you learn?
JD: #2, what is so unique about Cognizant?
SM: #2, I have myself worked with Cognizant for 11 months and I do not think that they offer any kind of flexibility. How do you justify what you just said?
VP: #1, you said you have learnt Reiki. What are the three levels in Reiki?
VP: #5, you said you have been trekking a lot. Can you name a few places where you have been to? Which was the best trek you had?
JD: #4, you said got hooked onto Finance while doing a Finance based project at TCS. What all did they teach you there to inspire you so much?
SM: #3, I have a question for you. Don't you think your knowledge of engineering would become irrelevant after an MBA in marketing?
JD: Ok, thanks a lot to all of you for coming. We are ready to take questions if you have some.
#1: Sir, can you please explain the process of DOCC and what all do participants do?
#3: How is ADMAP different from other institutes' system of library, mess and placement committees?
Hope this helps!
