Congratulations to all the Call-getters and good luck with the GD-PI process!

I think a good revision of acads is important to do well in the interview for admission to IIM-I.

As for the Interview form, it can be a bit painful to fill but as you would be filling other forms too, it shouldn't be that big a problem. From the little that I know from talking to people, things are asked from the form only if there is something different. In the group which got interviewed with me, one of the candidates were asked questions on each of the subjects in the marks list of his first two years of engineering.

We can never be sure of what one is asked but for Indore one can safely say that one has enough time inside the interview to make or break one's case for admission

And I have a Work Ex of 30 months.

Till now IIMI is the only call i have got... So its a despo situation for me... can you please guide me how to gear-up for the second round?? and what actualy shall be my concentration for Interview... Do you have any idea as to what are the factors that actualy will be taken in to consideration while giving final calls by IIMI??

Go to the following thread to read last year's IIMI GD/PI experiences. You ll come to know which areas to focus more for 2nd round.

Foremost factor that is taken into consideration for final calls is your performance in GD and PI. Then, other factors like the batch-profile the insti. has decided for this year and to very little extent, performance in CAT. I mean there's no disadvantage for junta with low percentiles but extremely high percentiles might have a little edge.

Rest assured, if your gd/pi performance is decent, there's no stopping you from converting calls. Give it your best shot; crack the intvws. All the best.

courses wourses chod in IIM I....... tere aur mere jaise Excellent academic track records(speaking sarcastically in case it is not obvious) waalo ka kaise odds hain not to to convert even a single call inspite of getting all 6???

This question is really close to heart....so any one who can give an encouraging response please step forward and do so...

Last time we were asked a specific question about one event in our life which was challenging/different- a description of the problem, how we tackled it and the lessons/attitudes(anything else you can put here) learnt.
It would be useful for you with your work-ex to put across some instance at work which would enable you to talk a lot more about the work you have done. The basic idea of the form being to enable the interviewers to ask you questions, so you might as well write about things you are comfortable talking about.

As for SOP, I think you get asked a question about what you want to do after MBA, and to answer the question do put some thought and write and I guess you would be having a pretty good idea with your work-ex.
And there will be also be a question as to what if you don't get into a b-school this year.

PS: all of this is under the assumption that you get a similar form to last year.
