Hey all puys,
Good response to the thread. But post other things also alongwith the books you are reading. I mean the things which i mentioned earlier in my first post (in bold letters) of this thread. Just imagine a newbie is visiting this thread and finding only the name of the books which we are reading will make him/her think, "What a thread. There are only names of books only" !!! I think i am able to put out what i want to say.

Yet, the response to this thread is fantastic. Good going mayank and priyanka. Keep posting. Eager to see more from u.

Thank You.

Regards,

i m reading "future shock" by alwin toffler,a great book.must read for anyone.
another book that i have just finished is " a brief history of time " by stephen w. hawking(the greatest scientist of our times) this book is best for persons with non science background,to get familiarity with scientific phenomenons.anyone can comprehend each and everything as the book uses only one mathematical equation.may be helpful by RC's point of view.

Hi guys!

The thread is going good.Lets keep up the spirit always..........

And Shalin, can you or someone tell me about these books by Arun Sharma. I understand from the different threads that his books are good for quant. Can you give me the titles of his books in all the categories i.e quant,di,ds so that I can purchase them too.

And I've started reading 2 newspapers per day.( TOI/Hindu, ET) Yesterday only, I started reading a magazine per day.(I plan to browse through any business or current affairs mag daily)

Hi All,
very nice to see this thread. One word of caution: guys pls start slowly. Please do remember that u need to keep the enthu till Nov07. Many ppl start very early and lose the enthu by the time of Aug/Sept because it is very difficult to keep the momentum. Hence I sincearly suggest u ppl to slowly pick the things up....
