does bim consider sectional cutoffs?what were they last time?i got 95.5 pcntl in cat,but my di pcntl is 77.what are my chances??

Well regarding the cut offs and calls..

Hope u ppl know that there is a quota system here.

You can check last yrs cut off at BIM's website.

This years cut offs will also be hovering around the same %ile

As far as I know, to get a call for GD/PI, its enough if u cross these cut-offs regardless of work ex.
And no special preference or cut offs are there for work ex. to get a call.

The present batch(23rd) has a total strength of 112(BIM can intake a max of 120/batch, but it doesnt mean that they take in 120), of which an average around 50% hve work ex.

Having work ex, does have an advantage during the GD/PI process, more so if u apply to BIM-B.

Guess the cut-offs should be out in some time.

Last year BIM took XAT scores too, so the calls came only after xat scores did, this year however, things are a bit different!
neways, the gd/pi happened during march last year and the results were out 1st april.

@sabarinath_c: BIM intimates via postal mail.
