Directions for Exam Centers! Road to success ;)

Every exam season we have new set of people appearing for exams, travelling to new cities to take the exam and some of the questions that come up in their mind straight after receiving the Admit Card are -->
"Where is my Exam entre?"
"How do I reach there from xyz landmark?"
"Do I take a left turn/right turn from abc road?"
"Which Bus/Train shall I take?"
"How much will it cost if I take a Taxi/Rickshaw from home?"

Exams will keep on coming up each season but majority of the centres will remain the same. As most of you must have seen so many centres during CAT, XAT, etc you can share the same info on this thread so that it can be useful for coming exams and even future years.

Directions:
Route 1: Get down at Dadar Station. Go to West. Walk towards Gokhale Road (North) and ask for Ranade Junction Bus Stop from any shopwala. DS Babrekar Marg would be right there. 15 mins walking from Dadar Station.

Route 2: If you are travelling in a BEST bus, get down at Gadgari Chowk Stop (landmark : Shiv Sena Head Office) near Dadar Station. Walk along Gokhale Road (North) and you'll reach the center in 10 mins.

Centre: Christ College, Hosur Road

Route:
1) If you are familiar with the location of the Forum, go to its back entrance(ie. the dairy circle one) and move right with your back towards the the forum while taking a right. Christ college will be there just across the road infront of Celstream and Oracle's office.

2)If you wanna come by the bus, there's a bus stop right at the college itself as its opposite a major office. Just get any bus coming on hosur road going towards the Forum!!

Centre : Vel's college of science

Route
Take the GST road from guindy. Drive past the airport. There will be a green sign indicating pallavaram. Immediately afterwards you would come across a big yellow sign on the left indicating Vel's College. Take the left narrow road. Keep driving. There are directions given at every corner, so it's a cinch after that.

R D National College OR Mithibai Motiram Kundnani (MMK) College Of Commerce And Economics OR Thadomal Shahani Engineering College
Bandra (West) Mumbai

Directions:
Route : Get down at Bandra Station. Go to West. Take a bus going towards Linking Road. All these colleges are just opposite/near to the Barista/Mc Donalds at Linking Road. Auto rickshaw will take you there in minimum fare from Bandra Station.

Poona College of Arts & Science, Camp (CAT Center)

Directions:
Route : Get to East Street (Parallel road to MG Road), reach Thousand Oaks Pub, go straight to Burger King, then go straight towards Pantaloon Factory Outlets; just before that, there's a lane on your right, go into it, it leads to the college.

P.S. Thousand Oaks/Burger King/Pantaloon Factory Outlets; all these have big boards, and are well known and easily noticed.

IIFT Center (Mumbai - Same as Mahip)

Ness Wadia College

Directions:
Route : Get out from the railway station, on the side which has the La Meridian Hotel (just in front of the station). Either walk (10-15 mins walk ) or take an auto (max distance would be 2-4 km, fare not more than 20-25 bucks). The college is on the same road, ask for Ruby Hall Clinic (or Xion Pub/Disco), the college is just opposite it.
Landmarks to be watched out on the road: Jahangir Hospital (on right side), Ruby Hall Clinic (on left side), Bajaj Pro-Biking Showroom(left side), Xion Pub (on left side) :- Exactly opposite is Wadia college

Get down at Bandra station , go east , catch a rick , arnd 15 rs ...


OR If u r travelling by road from mahim side, take the highway from bandra on the bridge ... After coming down from the bridge take a left on the first signal and then take another left again and go straight , I guess 5 mins by car , 10-12 mins walking ...

Kasturba Gandhi Girls College Maredpally (hope the spelling is right )

Directions:
The college is located in Maredpally, Secunderabad. If you guys are coming from hyderabad side then follow the road to airport and then keep on goin straight. After a couple of flyovers you will reach maredpally. Ask any shopkeeper there and he will guide you to it. The route is straight without any turns and am sure you wont encounter much difficulty finding it.

Kandivali (East)
Mumbai 400 101

Directions:
Route 1: Get down at Borivali Station. Go to East side. Catch an auto rickshaw and he'll straight away take you to Thakur College. 10 mins ride, 20 odd rupees. Never get down at Kandivali Station as you'll get stuck in traffic for 20-30 mins.

Route 2: If you are travelling in a BEST bus, catch a bus that travels on the Western Express Highway towards Borivali. Get down at the bus stop "Thakur Complex" in Kandivali. You'll have to cross the Western Express Highway and move towards Thakur Village. 10 mins walk from the bus stop.
