Online helpline for CAT - 18-01-2004, 12:14 PM

friends,
Quantumleap (the mentoring institute where i study) has now launched an online helpline to resolve queries and doubts of people who are aspiring to get into the IIMs
I am attaching the mail. PLease inform all your friends and colleagues also about their test series and online helpline facility

################################################## ###

Dear CAT Aspirant,

Its now less than one month to go for CAT and most of you are probably still not in top gear in your preparation for Feb -15, 2003. For a lot many of you (as we have identified in our interactions with students) there are two factors at play..

1.You are fed up of preparing for CAT because of the November-23 fiasco. Hence although you know that your preparation needs to be kickstarted, you are just not able to get yourself to do it. Every morning you get up thinking that you will start taking tests today but in the end it just does not materialize.

2.There are all of a sudden several entrance tests (XAT, FMS, ****) etc which have been holding your attention. As a result, you are now aware that you have your chances in other institutes and hence are not taking the thought of getting admission into the IIMs very seriously.

Its 27 days to go and in these last 27 days a minimum of 15-18 tests should be taken in order to build the momentum required to crack the CAT. IN terms of statistics, any IIM graduate you speak to will tell you that he/she took atleast 20 tests in the last one month. So if each of these guys is saying the same thing, then how can you ever think of getting through without putting in that kind of effort? All those of you who have taken our tests and those to whom we have sent feedback in the online-feedback test series will agree that there is tonnes of work to do.

So what are you waiting for guys? Start taking tests. In addition we are also re-introducing the facility where in you can write to several of our CAT mentors. You can check out their detailed profiles on www.quantumleap-consulting.com. Please feel free to write to

1. Rajneesh Agrawal, B.E (Electronics), PGDM – IIM Calcutta
rajneesh@quantumleap-consulting.com

2. Pramod Gubbi, B.E (Electronics and Telecom), PGDM – IIM Ahmedabad
pramod@quantumleap-consulting.com

3. Karishma Jaitly, B.E (Electronics), PGDM – IIM Bangalore
karishma@quantumleap-consulting.com

4. Bharat Agrawal, Bcom, Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, PGDM – IIM Calcutta bharat@quantumleap-consulting.com

5. Hitesh Gupta, Bcom, PGDCM (IIM Calcutta)
hitesh@quantumleap-consulting.com

To all those who want to avail of our test series, the QuantumLeap Test Series is now available in six cities – Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Calcutta. Please find the contact details for sourcing the test-series packs in these cities at the end of this email.

Each of these tests has been designed specifically for the second leg of CAT by a team of IIM Grads. The difficulty level of each of these tests is close to that of the actual CAT. The purpose of these tests is to get you used to the difficulty level of CAT and to help you build the momentum required to crack the CAT on Feb 15, 2004.

This newly designed set of tests will be delivered to you by courier. To order this product send us a mail on register@quantumleap-consulting.com with your name, phone number and full mailing address. Payment should be sent by DD / cheque.
