Good initiative.
Can some one paste the formula for bound/unbound spaces for intersecting lines?
For ex:
When no of line (N) = 1
Then unbound space = 2
|
Un-bound | Unbound space 2
Space 1 |
|
|
|
N = 2
Unbound space = 4
|
|
__________
|
|
N = 3
Unbound space = 6
Bound space = 1
I forgot the formula.
Can some one paste it?

see
if n lines no two of which are parallel and no three are concurrent
then it will make Sigma(n)+1 =nx(n+1)/2 +1 no of total spaces(both bound and unbound)
out of these total 2n will be unbound spaces.

Reason: changed 2n bound to 2n unbound

I got some material from baby yesterday!
here's something easy and useful!!!
Ptolemy’s Theorem - For a Cyclic Quadrilateral, the sum of the products of the two pairs of opposite sides equals the product of the diagonals..
AC*BD = AB*CD + AD*BC
hope it helps someone!!!

Re: Last Minute Key Notes for CAT -

This one is related with conditional probability.
Here mainly we have 2 formulas:
1.Simple conditional probability.(Remember when A is an event depended on events E1 and E2, where E1 and E2 are mutually exclusive events??)
2.Bayes Theorem.
Use former when data are given for present and asked about future and use latter when datas are given for present and asked about past.
hope am clear, if not then will explain with examples.
Once the game is over, the king and pawn go back to same box.
Itz the game which is important, not the king !!!

like with 3 lines (not parallel and not concurrent) we will have 1 bounded region and 6 non-bounded reigon.
hope nw u got what are bounded and unbounded reigons..

i dunno many fundaes..but this one has been very useful for me in remainder problems...
a^E(n) % n = 1 whr E(n) is the euler number of n and a and n are co prime...
P.S i studied this in my course of sp....perhaps the only thing in my 3.5 yr engg which has helped me ..:P

The fifth power of any single digit number has the same units digit as the number.

hey man..
this is a nice thing you brought up. Now I distinctly remember this concept but I have just realised that I have forgotten the formulae. The Euler No. concept told by someone... That was a bit too much..
so if someone could post the 12th standard formulae please..
thanks in advance!
