Ubs Admission's 2006

yaar aisa kooooch nai hota. last year even i was in the same dillemma. i called up the ubs guys. tey said certificate is not required as of now. if you secure the final admission, then they will tell you what is to be done and how to get the certificate..so abhi chill n concentrate on cat-06

the no of seats in ubs.....
which 1 to choose fore/lal bahadaur and ubs....
second r u sure that i can apply in bth the genral an nri catagory simaltaneously..

i dont hv idea abt no. of seats, but i may take the liberty to say that ubs is a better option than fore or lbs

as for applying in both categories,yes u can
infact last year i got a call fom ubs in nri category and not geenral , though i had filled up only general.

Just read on this thread that the cut-offs for NRI category was 77 percentile.. and that if I get a decent score I will get a call from General category as well...

But can you tell me what are the fees for the NRI category including hostel and mess charges..

Cutoff may be 77%tile dude, but it's not enough to convert, I had 78%tile last year, did not go for GD/PI, no use, that's because CAT scores have a weightage of 85%, & GD/PI only 15% in the final tally.

NRI fees is about 5 lac+- some amount, depending upon the the Re/$ exchange rate at the time of paying your fees. Hostel/Board are insignificant, that won't dent your pocket, don't worry about that now, first appear for CAT. General category cutoff could be near 94-95%tile this year, depending on paper toughness, & number of applicants.

Since this is a University.., do they ask for 60 % in graduation ? Coz i got only 59

This is what the brochure says :
"A Bachelor’s/Post Graduate Degree recognised by
Association of Indian Universities / All India Council
of Technical Education for Post Graduate Studies in
any discipline of the University or a degree of any
other university which has been recognised by the
Syndicate as equivalent there to with not less than
50% marks in the aggregate."
