Hi all,

I wrote FLT-1 yesterday. Found it to be pretty easy. But there are some glaring errors in the answers given by CL.

Q2. The answer is Option(b): -1/4. The 'Answers and Explanations' Sheet also confirms that. However, CL is evaluating Option(d): None of these, as the correct answer.

Q71. The question does not mention the distance(s) to be travelled by Mr. Sinha. However, the answer assumes that he is travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad. How?

Q82-83. The questions do not mention 'which city'. Therefore, it will be wrong to assume that these questions belong to the city for which the graphs are given. (Now don't say that it is obvious.)

I do not think that this test deserved more than 2 hours. I believe that IIMs are going to increase the number of questions (and certainly not keep it at 90) after giving an extra time of half-an-hour to write the test.

I managed to get a score of 81.33. I would appreciate if you could also post replies (and scores, if you have already taken the test).

Hey buddy!!

I also agree with u that the FLTs r damn easy .. I attempted 3 FLTs & here r my scores :
( I attempted first 3 FLTs in 2 Hrs as i was unaware of the fact that these were for 2.5 hrs as 2 hrs were mentioned on the paper )

FLT 1 : 86.66
FLT 2 : 83
FLT 3 : 91.66

I dont know why they r so easy ??

Anyways, ATB to u ppl & keep posting ur scores !!

but i remember mr arindam saying that previous year;s mocks become this years FLT's. So, were the previous years mocks that easy?

I think one reason why the FLTs appear easy is because of the fact that we have an extra half hour to write the test... But definitely, they are relatively easier than the Mock CATs we are getting, as one can see from Amit's score (he completed the FLTs in two hours only, and still got a very good score).

The best way to judge one's performance will be to upload the FLTs on SIS and then see the performance vis-a-vis other students.

Buddy , even i m not sure why these FLTs seem so easy & i m also not understanding that how last yr mocks can be so easy ..
Anyways, give ur best to the mocks & do post ur scores in SIS so that u can get the comparative analysis ..

& keep posting in this thread to keep it active ..

Buddy , i dont hav the softcopies & also its not wise to post softcopies as this is a copyrighted material & copying them is violation of forum rules also..
