Is there anyone who can provide any information regarding FOSTIIMA b-school,it is a college started by friends of IIM A batch 73........
my sole priority is good placements,will this college be able to provide a decent package to fresher i.e somewhere around 6-7 lakhs p.a,as this college has got the max no. of iim faculty and they hv a great exposure in the industry..

will it be wise to choose FOSTIIMA over FMS BHU...

plz any senior or fellow PUY reply as quickly as possible.....

You have to apply for the group membership of your college. Go to "My account" and on the left hand side, you'll see "Group memberships". Select your college and join by giving your college email id. Personal email ids will not do, so in case you haven't joined college or are yet to get a college email id, you have to wait till you get one. Once you send the request, the group leader will verify and then approve your request. Then even you will have the name of your B-school

Hey, FOSTIIMA is a great upcoming B-School. My cousin is in FOSTIIMA and his final placement is around 5.5 and I got this first hand information thts why sharing here. I m also taking admission there, I ve successfuly completed GD PI stage.

All the FOSTIIMA Students of the 2008 - 2010 Batch have been Summer placed with stipends up to Rs. 18,000 per month. Now what makes me happy is FOSTIIMA as a policy matter only accepts stipend summer placements, thus 100% summer placements stipend based. Final placement is also 100% with average 5-6.

Total Faculty - IIM Alumni [35] , all trustees as well, FOSTIIMA people say, "The largest group of IIM Ahmedabad Grad's together......... in any one Organisation"

Now this may be promotional phrase used in ads , but I was impresed :-) by its implications. In company of 35 IIM alumni is what matters to me, I know they will help me carve out my career, the way i want.

I want to make my career in Online Media Strategy and Advertising, but first I guess I need to focus on MBA ;-)

I was told that it is affiliated to pondicherry university but in their website its name is not mentioned so its bit doubtful abt their affiliation...plz guide me regarding this.

I recently (very recently ) decided to do MBA or an equivalent degree, but unfortunately I have not attended any Entrance exams this year. I know I am very late on the scene, but is there any good institutes out there that still hasn't conducted their exams? I have been searching the web but hasn't really come up with anything good so far, If any of you guys know any such institute do let me know.

I have cleared the entrance to both IIFT part time MBA and IIML Noida Campus's WMP program. I am really confused which course to join. I have a work ex of 3 years after my engineering from PU, chandigarh.

I’m trying to compare the two in terms of branding, course structure, placements (most importantly- as in is there any internal placement cell which can help get better opportunities at the end of 3 yrs) and also on the complexity of the course. All in all which one is a more valuable course? The IIFT program had been started in 2000 and the IIM one in 2005 most prob.
Also, is WMP equivalent to an MBA or PGDM degree?
Is the degree provided "Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management"?
How well recognized is this course by the companies?
Please guide me in evaluating the two courses as I have only a couple of days to decide.
