I think all the good colleges consider some level of sectional cutoffs so your QA score could pose a problem, else your overall %ile and VA %ile would be very good

before deciding upon futher applications wait a few days, the keys of the institutes would change a bit, and so will your score. check your score again on wednesday and then think about the colleges to apply for

Hi all,

My scores roughly -
25 in QA
21 in DI
48 - 50 in VA
94- 96 OA

Pls tell me what percentile I can expect and where I can apply? The score is really depressing compared to those I have seen posted on this thread..

Looking at score trends and comparing it with the last year paper, i would say that you will score some where around 92-93 percentile. Last year i scored 97% at 94 marks so make your comparision. The colleges you should apply are NIRMA (as you have good sectional, last year NIRMA's cut off was 91 with 50 in each section), TAPMI, FORE, LBS, KJSOM, IMTN.

Dude there are colleges which do not look for sectional cut off's, IMT, FORE, LBS, NIRMA ( Last year 95 widout sectional was cut off). But a negative score in QA will surely be a hurdle during the interviews :bigear:

The problem is I am unsure of the institute's key - I cud be gaining around 2-3 questions. Shud I apply for SPJAIN/IMT?

Buddy if you are unsure about VA then its fine, this happens all the time, plz calculate scores from all the keys and then come to final decision, check how much maximum you can score and apply in colleges in some plus/minus range of this score. Otherwise i never found much deviation in QA and DI keys:angel:
