Wondering which Bskools to apply visit this thread!!!

Seeing ur work ex i wud suggest u to go for ISB and not think abt SITM etc.. Give GMAT this june.

i have something to ask coz most of the bschools have declared their results and i have not been able to crack even a single interview what can i do now is it worth droping a year and try again my cat score was 92.4di-90.xxqant-89.xxva-78.xxperformance throughout my career has been below avg 59 in 1059. in 12th and 59 in BE or are there any colleges to which i can apply now

Hey Puys....am posting in PG after a long hiatus, took a break after reject from IIFT(scored 37.71 and was very optimistic after a feel good GDPI).....anyways after rejects from XLRI and waitlists in NM, IMT and IIT-B i have got confirmed calls from IIT-D and IIT-Kgp....now in dilemma on which b-school to join......also my waitlist number in IIT-B is 13..but given my spree of rejects i dont know what to expect....also scored 149/200 which amounts to 99.90 percentile in MH-CET....i am a mumbai guy so am a home univ candidate while applying to jbims....so have a 50-50 chance for jb provided i do well in my gdpi which is scheduled in may........

so right now i have got 2 questions:
1. between iit-d and iit-kgp from which college should i accept the offer.
2. and between iit-b and jbims which college is better(i am looking forth to majoring in finance..but after hearing from experiences of my friends in various b schools probably i may change my mind once i go thru the drubbing in a b-school

COngrats on the multiple converts! I am sure it feels great to have Bschools pulling at you from both sides (with more waiting in the pipeline)

Personally I suggest you take up JBIMS amongst the 3. Between the 2 IITs I aint the best person though Delhi makes more sense simply because its Delhi

which is a major commercial hub

1) IIT D is much better than IIT K .
2) I think among JBIMS and IIT B , both are gud but u can consider IIT B ahead of JBIMS

I am in dilemma between IITB and MDI .I do not plan on doing in marketing.

Would probably do FInance or IT or consulting

cos in iit lingo iit-k is kanpur and iit-kgp is karagpur........

I'm a B.E.(Mech) with 2.5yr with Titan as Sr.Engnr. & 0.5yr with family business exp..

I've got 2 make a choice b/w TAPMI & NIRMA..my main worry being TAPMI offers only a diploma, wheras NIRMA gives a masters degree.

Are there any pros & cons to my view? will this in any way affect international job prospects?
