SP Jain Interview calls/experiences

I thought there were only two rounds of interviews and that too on the same day...this seems to be a new development...

and does this mean that people who didnt get this e-mail have been eliminated?

i got this e-mail too....imma call em up and inquire abt what this final round is all about....

Also note that you may / may not have to take a MAT (Managerial Aptitude Test)

Guys,

Just my feelings...!!

Don't you think this institute is getting crazier day by day..!!

I do agree this is one of the best colleges in India and is famous for unique approaches in admission and MBA studies..!!

But this is.....

Well we have to go thru all this..!! Best of luck to all who have got calls for yet another FINAL INTERVIEW...!!

Just a question..!!

With the kind of candidates there are in the batch...would it be difficult for them to get placement or get an avg sal of 6.5 lacs....I do not feel so..!!

Anybody in PG with such profiles and applied to IM in SPJIMR....be sure you are gonna get into SPJain..!!

All BE/BTechs....looks like I have no chance..

Candidates from

Infosys - 8
TCS - 6
Satyam- 2
Wipro - 3
CTS - 2

I think they can as well take all candidates from such big firms, so that placing them with higher sals would not be an issue. I feel without MBA also these guys would have been earning arnd 6 lacs had they continued in their jobs for 2 more years..!!

I do not know what do to..!! PG's help..!!
I am a non-Engg. BCA Univ ranker...but in a Call center tho as a Tech Lead, with (I feel) very good essays and a decent CAT score..!!

But after looking at the profile...I feel all TCS/Wipro/Satyam/ and not to mention INFY guys gonna take the seats in SPJ..!!
Need to do really good in GI to make into SPJ...Hope GOD is with me..!!

i had my interview on the 22nd of feb....... i dint get tht mail...... wht does it mean?? i really hope it doesnt mean thts the end of sp for me..... someone throw some light ..!
all those guys who have recieved this mail could you post your cat scores and individual section scores pliss..... i think its based on cat scores

this is really getting very crazy...had my interview on mar 13th ....but no mail....guys who have got the final interview mails please post your profile and expected cat scores...

I received a mail asking me to take the MAT at SPJIMR campus on the 28th.

I've got 2 years of work exp as an Associate Consultant at i-flex Solutions Ltd.

My prev acads have been very good but I haven't fared too well on the CAT. I'm expecting a score of 42 - 45.

Does anyone know what the MAT is going to be like?
