I agree with that.
everyone has already made a choice to appear at CAT 2006, in spite of the fact that many of us are having very bad acads.
Once we have decided to take the CAT, there is no point in bothering about our acads at this point.
If we make it to 99+ percentile at CAT, the ball will be in IIM's court rather than in ours. It will be there problem whether they call us or not.
One thing for sure, the IIM needs dedicated fellow who can take the rigor of studies rather than make excuses. If you prove at GDPI (provided they decide to call you) that you are good enough despite having bad acads, you are through.
If you can't, then your high score and even good acads are useless.
So focus on CAT 2006 only at this point.
