hi guys, regarding those pie charts, its true that it was n t very clear, even i faced the same problem, but i did manage to get all those questions right. just needed to try permutations for clockwise and anticlockwise directions to get the first answer, and then it was through. and i heard about 8000 people take precats, i am not sure if its 1500 as some one mentioned bcos the no of students of careerforum must be around 6000 to 8000 regards.

Hey..how many of you could solve that 2 pointer football matches caselet?
It was really a mindblowing caselet...I enjoyed though could not solve it during 2.5hr test span.:(
But...solution of the same really explains the pure logic behind it.
Why dont we discuss the problems ..reather entire paper in this thread?

Well, the number of students taking the test doesnt matter at this stage. Even 20k and 30k does not give a really good picture of where you stand since the actual CAT is written by over 1.5 lakh students.

There are over 4500 students for the CF precats since many students take the test later during the week and the percentile keeps changing. They give a normalized percentage just like the CAT. You can know where you stand compared to the highest scorer in the section.

anyway, i am happy to score more in PreCAT-2 compared to the first one. Need to clear the cut-offs mentioned in the analysis.
VA - 27.33, DI - 20.66, QA-11.33, Total - 59.32

I am a time student too. I am disappointed with number of students who give CF. Just around 1500 compared to 20k time n 30k ims

Definately. You can start studying new topic now...but just check how much time you can spend on it. Just try to concentrate on concepts. in CAT i dont think that they expect anything else than concepts, logic, speed and accuracy.
Concerning geometry...i feel that it is the easiest topic in quant. and since last couple of years, in CAT the weightage of marks for geometry comprises at least 30% of QA. SO it is wise to be good at Geometry.
What say?

Papers are really of high standard. Not quite getting there yet. Mucho problemo with DI. Can't seem to be thinking on my feet (seat??) when taking test. Also problem with algebra. Should I refer to Hall & Knight for fundas?

Hey my date of birth was wrongly entered, 1993 instead of 1983. How do I correct it. Anyone knows?
