No Isha

1) They can have 5 sections- QA, VA,RC,DI and LR ( as they have already stated that they are goign to test quant , DI and verbal abilities)

2) They will most probably increase the number of questions to 120 - or even more

3) If at all a new sections pops up, it will be most probably in the form of some kind of Logical qns as they have exhibited an increasng fondness for this section.

Re: CAT 2006 Notification - 13-07-2006, 02:19 PM

In case you have completed your graduation and your university / institution uses only selected subjects /
courses to calculate percentages and the same is not reflected in the photocopy of your mark sheet or
degree certificate, has a certificate from your university indicating the basis on which percentage is
calculated by your university / institution been enclosed with the application form? Please note that in the absence of such a certificate or indication of percentage on mark sheet or degree certificate, aggregate
marks across all subjects would be used to calculate percentage marks obtained by you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
what does that mean.......my university does not print percentage and also it takes into consideration only first attempt marks....what do i need to do....get a letter from the university stating that only first attempt marks are taken into consideration and enclose it......what to do...pls help me out

Re: CAT 2006 Notification - 13-07-2006, 02:27 PM

Well.. Just glanced thru the brchure whn saw tht thr will be sections.. Also, max. no. of questons can be 180 as seen in the sample answer sheet...

Sections may be 5 with 30 questions in each..

Well these speculations will go on and on.. I am expecting them to revert back from the differential marking scheme to a similar marking for each question...
