now that its written that cat is going to be a 2.5 hrs test.....can we speculate that there might just be a surprise GK section added!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nope, I don't think that kind of speculation is required. The bulletin clearly says that it will test Quant, verbal, logical and data interpretive abilities. So, we can chill on that.

The two and a half hour thing is there all the time. We get the first half hour to fill in the answer sheet with our Roll number, address, Booklet Number and the series.
The test will begin at 1100 hours and end at 1300 hours.
So, no need to speculate unnecessarily.
i dont think so because in bulletin it was clearly stated that we occupy our seats at 10 and booklet will be issued at 10:20 and test starts at 10:30 and we will get 2.5 hours with out break to answer te question

So people no need to speculate about Essay or GK as a section. And also not required is the sample paper as they have said 2005 paper can be dowloaded from the website.
So, surprise number 1 is already out - 2.5 hrs paper.
Lets see what else IIMs throw at us this time. Saale kuch na lucch naya karte rehte hain but i am with them on this. There should always be an element of surprise.
Forget the 2.5 hours. That isn't as bad as it seems. What is interesting is that if there are no sample questions as is being said in the previous posts(I'm still downloading the bulletin), then all the candidates are in for a major surprise on D-day.

I guess, nothing much to worry about. Its half an hour extra. May be after the FIFA World Cup, some dude at IIM, thought that they should have a 30 minutes Extra time for CAT too.. ... These guys are just pure evil mannn . You never know where they get inspired from.
