General queries : Career Launcher Test Series For CAT-2006

Career Launcher is commencing its all india test series from 16th junly.. i just want you people to discuss each n every mock with lots of gravity.. we will try to overcome our shortcomings while discussions.. n obviously strengthen our strengths.. hoping to have positive response for this thread..

Couple of things...

a) Am renaming the thread to 'General queries blah blah '

b) When the test series start there will be a separate thread for each mock anyway...so restrict this thread to queries alone.

I m Time Classroom student & hav also enrolled for CL Test series.

I wanna know that wats the difference between the Mock CAT & a Comprehensive Test as first 3 tests r Comprehensive Tests.

hello fren.. how will you manage test series if you have already joined both Time n CL? i asked in CL center all abt this comprehensive test.. they told me that nothing is different.. they r jus named as so.. i was not satisfied with answer.. but teling you wat they told me..

As far as i know,3 mock comprehensive tests starting frm 16th july will try to test us with questions frm all chapters.so u could get more questions on TSD or number system in one test and so on an so forth covering every aspect in all 3 tests.it applies to all the 3 sections(if there are 3)....it was done last time also but were named mock term assesment tests(MTA)....

I discussed with my centre head and came to a conclusion that the first three tests are basically for us to formulate a plan or strategy on how one would go on to attempt the rest of the mocks.
So DO experiment in these three tests on wat would be the most comfortable for you to attempt a test., and STICK to it ! Its ok if u dont top in these tests., preparing a strategy will go a long way in helpin in the final CAT.

Lets discuss that also here on how you would attempt the test ., i mean,.
With wat section would you start first ?
On wat basis would you select questions ? on size or familiarity ?

i dont think so sahil .......i guess comprehensive test will be like normal mock cats. just name changed.

i have also joined TIME aimcats and i m enrolled in CL for correspondense + mocks............so i'll be giving both the mocks. CL mocks on sat and aimcat on sunday.........

i was told that these are take home tests...they'll provide the question papers at 10:00am and we'll bring the answer sheets back b4 3:00pm....also there would be no analysis for these 3 comprehensive tests...
