cat 2005 cut offs - 07-06-2006, 10:15 PM

hi
In an article (http://in.rediff.com/getahead/2006/jun/07cat.htm) its mentioned that cut off for last year's RC and verbal section was 13. Can anyone confirm this? and was this the cut off for IIMs or some other college?
It'd be really nice if someone can give me the cutoffs for Maths and DI also.

U need not start a thread for this purpose. There are already thread pertaing CAT.Do read the newbie's thread and the basic rules thread.
Actual cut offs are never diclosed by the IIMs....However every coaching instiute has its interpretation. What i remember is DI-14,Quant -16,Verbal-21 , total--above 50
U can check it on the home page of various coaching institute website.

Hi
Probably you never read my post with interest. The cut-offs you have given are all according to various predictions given by various experts before the actual results were declared and before people got calls from various institutes. I have provided a link in the post, just try to go and read the article till you get the hang of point I am trying to make. The simple query was : Are there any post results conjectures available on what the cut-offs were? And if there were, are they in confirmity with 13 marks as claimed by the author? And please point me a link to the threads that give all this information because I had already searched and didn't find any.
thanks

Exactly what I was looking for. That proves my point. If anyone got even lower scores and got calls from top institutes, please post so that we may make a guess about final cut-offs.

But that article didnot mention that u need to get a 99.98 in Quant and 99.61 in DI and an over all %ile of 99.86 to counter that poor score in VA+RC.

Leaving aside .. 2 yrs work ex, decent acads and extra curriculars.

The cut offs for CAT 2005.. are already there ... but that doesnot mean every one who clears all cutoffs ... will get a call. There are other things that matter too!!

making a guess about final cut-offs?? We have threads running in this ... kindly use the http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/search.php option

Is it prohibited on these forums to point out previous threads? I've tried to search again with keywords like final cut off and cat 2005 final cut off. Can noone post a link to the so called threads they are referring to?
And of course I was aware that the IIMs take into account various factors (incl. the overall score) when sending a call. Anyways thanks for that bit also.
