So, I am not attending the IIM-A interview. It is IIM-B for me.

How did your brother go with the admits? How was his IIMA interview?

Rock, how are your holiday plans shaping up? And how are your motivation levels at work.. mine are rockbottom.

I saw someone ask about the process to apply through the GMAT quota... it's quite straightforward.. you'll need a pretty high GMAT score (I'd say 730+) and a pretty simple application form that's available at the IIMB website. I also saw some guy's reply asking ppl not to apply through the GMAT route.. hehe.. hilarious... talk about a warm welcome.. oh well - points for honesty i guess!

Is it mandatory for Indian Nationals to take CAT for IIMs...any back door entry ...oops..i meant by GMAT?

Well, I have not even attended the interview for A, so its not as if I have a choice in hand. But then I am not even attempting to get such a choice. For A, I need to come down for an interview. Not up for such a short trip to India.

B works really well for me. The city is great and few of my buddies are working in the tech industry out there. I just feel tht I will be more comfortable out there compared to A. Rankings,placements etc. are not the only criterion, I also want to be a fit with the college, place.

Last but not the least, isn't Gujarat a dry state ?
